Avocados for health

Did you know the creamy avocado goodness isn’t only delicious but also really good for you?

These wonderful green globes are full of nearly 20 essential vitamins and nutrients! Eating just one half of an avocado gives you 10 per cent of your daily recommended intake of fibre, potassium, folic acid, B vitamins and vitamin E which will make you feel good and look good, too. They are also a source of “good” fats, mono and polyunsaturated, which lower cholesterol, keep you healthy and helps you feel full so you can enjoy them guilt free. There are just so many reasons to love my favourite fruit!

Don’t miss out on all the goodness! Add avocados into everyday meals, such as a smoothie to make it nice and creamy, salad or even pair them with your favourite grain and protein like in the delicious Smoked Turkey with Avocado and Quick Pickles recipe.
