To show my friends how much I appreciate the warm welcome they have given me, I am planning a little celebration this weekend. I’ll start the party off with scrumptious Spicy Prawns with Zesty Avocado Spread, the avocado is a great complement to the spicy prawns. For dessert, I will surprise everyone with the Raspberry Avocado Semifreddo. It’s so creamy and delicious!

This weekend I’m going to host a backyard barbecue and I’ll be serving some amazing avocado recipes. I’ll greet my friends with a refreshing Avocado Margarita and then I’ll fire up the grill to make scrumptious Meatball Kebabs with Avocado Tzatziki. Of course, tortilla chips and Classic Guacamole will be available throughout the party! I truly believe a summer party is not complete without avocados .

To get in shape for some of my new favourite summer activities, I’ll need to fuel up with avocados, of course! I always start my workout days with a Key Lime Smoothie since it fills me up and provides me with the nutrients and energy I need for my workout. Avocados also supply protein which helps nourish muscles.

My friends and I are planning to go hiking, kayaking, biking and you can be sure we’ll be playing lots of beach volleyball over the next couple of months. Fueled with avocados, we’ll be sure to stay energized for hours!

These wonderful green globes are full of nearly 20 essential vitamins and nutrients! Eating just one half of an avocado gives you 10 per cent of your daily recommended intake of fibre, potassium, folic acid, B vitamins and vitamin E which will make you feel good and look good, too. I always celebrate Cinco de Mayo with family and friends. This year, I want my Canadian friends to experience how truly wonderful it is. My friends in Toronto are my extended family here in Canada. To celebrate Easter this weekend, we are getting together for a potluck brunch.
